What you'll be doing
Blue Mountains Anzac Memorial Hospital is seeking to recruit an experienced Physiotherapist to perform the role of the Physiotherapy Student Educator and Aquatic/ Musculoskeletal Senior.
This exciting role will ensure the provision of the highest quality Aquatic services to the patients of Blue Mountains Anzac Memorial Hospital. This service provides a vital contribution to the well-being of many local residents due to limited Hydrotherapy facilities in the Blue Mountains.
Another primary function of the role includes co-ordinating student placements across both BMDAMH and Springwood Hospitals, and being responsible for ambulatory care student placements.

Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
Selection criteria to be addressed: * Degree in Physiotherapy and current Full National Physiotherapy Registration with AHPRA.

• Extensive post graduate experience in Physiotherapy, with substantial experience in Aquatic physiotherapy, Musculo skeletal Physiotherapy and clinical education and training.
• Extensive experience in clinical supervision, teaching and coordination of educational activities for students on clinical placements
• Demonstrated experience in the development and writing of high level documents such as Briefs, policies and procedures
• Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills, excellent time management skills & ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team and with educational providers.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and knowledge of & experience with Quality Improvement, program evaluation and Evidence Based Practice
• Demonstrated ability to provide advice to service managers on clinical service development, practice and design in response to demands and client stakeholder needs.
