Student Engineer
Casual until end of June 2024
Salary Range: $48.18 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) plus 11% Superannuation

We have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineering Student to join our City Assets team as a Student Engineer.
The Role
In this role you will gain hands on engineering experience working closely with the Team Leader on the following areas:
- Providing assistance to feature survey services to internal customers including undertaking or procuring land survey tasks, collating and providing that data, setting out control points and ensuring the good order and maintenance of surveying equipment.
- Support the organisation, collection, collation, of speed and volume traffic data on traffic movements as requested.
- Respond to traffic related enquiries, completing designs and undertake other aspects of local government engineering related to transport, traffic and roads.
- Assist the Infrastructure Development department with processing of land use and subdivision development applications, drainage investigations and approvals, supervision of developer works.
You will need:
- Currently undertaking study in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Current Victorian Driver’s License.
Successful applicants will be required to apply for and satisfactorily obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
