An opportunity is now available for a Student Placement Officer to join our national training team based across our Gold Coast and Brisbane campuses in a full-time capacity. The Student Placement Officer will also be responsible for delivering placement opportunities for students based in Perth, remotely.
You will be joining a flourishing RTO with an established reputation for producing quality, industry-ready graduates.
About the role:
- Identify suitable vocational placement opportunities for students, across Gold Coast, Brisbane and Perth.
- Assist students in obtaining required documentation for vocational placement.
- Provide support to Trainers and Assessors, Training Manager and students.
- Network, build and maintain a database of external placement providers.
- Build, maintain and nurture strong relationships with external providers.
- Review completed Vocational Placement logbooks prior to submitting to the administration team for processing.
- Travel between our Gold Coast and Brisbane campuses
- General administrative duties – printing, scanning, etc.
- Update student records in accordance with compliance procedures
- Have experience working in a cross-cultural environment and dedicating yourself to supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
- A commitment to customer service, student satisfaction and positive learning outcomes.
Selection criteria are as follows:
- RTO Experience preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of aged care, disability, and community services sectors preferred but not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Sound administration, organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrated capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with tight time schedules.
- Positive approach to a continually changing work environment.
- A current Paid Working with Children Check.
- Drivers licence and access to a vehicle.
