About your role:
Are you looking for Student Placement in the booming disability sector? Gain valuable real life experience and skills to kick-start a career in the fast-growing and highly rewarding sector. As a student, you will be buddied up with a Disability Support Worker based within our Maryborough Community Access program.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside our team in supporting our customers in a variety of social experiences such as sport and fitness activities, arts and craft, woodwork, cooking, sailing, singing and dancing.
Community Access offers an exciting learning experience for students. This inclusive environment provides our customers the opportunity for learning, friendship, growth and fun!
About you
- Currently studying a Cert III in Individual Support or similar
- Ability to follow directions and work as an individual or as part of a team
- Social, friendly and easy going - great people skills is a must
- Compassionate nature

You will have the following to qualify for this role
- Hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children)
- A NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities)
- Full COVID-19 vaccinations (proof from MyGov) - 2 doses
- Aged 18 years and over
- Open Drivers Licence (or on Green P Plates)
