About the Role
Join our dynamic team in Student and Scholarly Services supporting the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences (MDHS) and play a pivotal role in inspiring and recruiting the next generation of healthcare leaders. As the Student Recruitment & Enquiries Officer, you'll be at the forefront of engaging with prospective students, locally and for MDHS. Your day-to-day will include responding to future student enquiries, promoting our university's profile to attract future graduate students, and supporting the visibility of undergraduate programs within the Divisional Group. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact and inspire the next generation of leaders across MDHS

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing timely and tailored support to prospective students via online inquiries, webinar Q&A and in-person events.
  • Providing responsive, timely and discipline/program-specific support to colleagues in the Future Students Hub.
  • Reporting regularly on enquiry trends to the MDHS Future Student leadership team, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Assisting with undergraduate and graduate recruitment activities as required, for example, Open Day, information sessions and education expos.

Your adeptness in written and verbal communication, coupled with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, will be instrumental in driving success. With your strong interpersonal skills and collaborative spirit, you'll thrive in fostering productive relationships and influencing positive outcomes for the university, MDHS, and students alike. If you're passionate about providing high-quality service and meeting the unique needs of prospective students from various backgrounds, we want to hear from you!.

You will also have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training
  • Previous experience with Student Recruitment within a tertiary education context.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute towards problem solving and continuous improvement, through a flexible and agile mindset.
