About the Role
Reporting to the Student Services Manager, the Student Services and Reception Assistant is dedicated to providing friendly and efficient service to a wide range of stakeholders. Our Student Services counter team is the first point of contact for many visitors, and they play a critical role in supporting the smooth running of the campus.
This role is offered in a casual capacity. Flexibility of hours is required as counter staff are required to work a combination of day shifts, evening shifts as well as events.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional, friendly service to students, staff and guests
- Ensure the campus is safe and secure - only admitting authorised guests
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and respond in a timely and friendly way to enquiries - either face to face, phone or email
- Provide support for campus events
- Facilitate room bookings and maintaining the booking system
- Encourage collaboration and feedback across the institute to inform continuous improvement
- Liaise with relevant industry and regulatory authorities to stay up-to-date with industry developments
- Provide general administrative support to the Student Experience and Success Team
