TLK Community College, a leading not-for-profit Registered Training Organisation (RTO), is looking for a new team member who has exceptional customer service skills, inter-personal skills, a friendly and positive manner.
This position is for two days per week in our Tuggerah office.
This position reports to the Vocational Education and Training (VET) Manager.
This position will involve:
- Provide assistance with Student Support both in person and online
- Assist with potential enrolments
- Assist with student orientation
- Provide ongoing support to students in the form of mentoring, coaching and guidance
- Connect students with appropriate resources
- Refer students to external support services
- Reach out to students who have become disengaged
- Establish a relationship of trust with students
- Develop schedules for meetings with students
- Maintain an awareness of mental health
- Supporting students by being a positive presence during training and assessments
- May also be required to establish and maintain relationship with business clients
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Effective communication, planning, organising and problem solving skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Competent computer skills
