The Role
In an exciting new role supporting the Black Cat Civil precontracts team from our Sunshine Coast head office, we are interested in hearing from experienced Submissions Coordinators, that can coordinate submissions on behalf of all Black Cat Civil divisions.
You will work closely with some of the brightest minds the industry and be part of a company where employee development is the cornerstone of our sustained growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities of the Submissions Coordinator include:
- Coordinate the submissions process, including document preparation, submissions uploads, and post-submissions requirements.
- Liaise with all relevant internal stakeholders including the estimating team, construction managers, and Directors to prepare submission information and coordinate relevant internal reviews.
- Conduct comprehensive research on project requirements, competitor analysis, and market trends to enhance Submissions competitiveness and increase the company's win rate.
- Maintain a comprehensive submissions tracking system to monitor and manage all submissions, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of all Submissions-related activities.
- Facilitate effective communication among internal teams and external partners, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes the successful delivery of high-quality, competitive Submissions.
- Assist in the preparation of compelling proposal content and presentations, emphasizing the company's unique value proposition and capabilities to potential clients.
Requirements of the Submissions Coordinator:
- Proven experience in submissions, proposals or bid coordination within the construction industry, preferably with a civil contractor.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Business Administration, marketing and communications or a related field would be highly regarded.
- Proficiency in Submissions management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments and levels of the organization.
