ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent position on a 5:2, 4:3 roster, DIDO from our Boddington Bauxite Mine. It is located a short drive from the community of Boddington (10 minutes), Pinjarra (50 minutes) and the City of Mandurah (1 hour).
As the Execution Superintendent, you will be responsible for effectively managing the execution of production processes to achieve the performance targets for HSEC, volume and cost.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
• Lead a team of approximately 150 employees and contractors to operate the production processes and equipment safely and in accordance with the schedule, process specifications and the operations technical standards
• Build, monitor and manage the annual production budget and forecasts
• Drive improvement initiatives to improve productivity and plan compliance
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
• Minimum 5 years Production Execution Experience in leading teams
• Detailed knowledge, understanding and experience related to large earth moving, drill and blasting, contractor management and budget management
• Expert knowledge pertaining to basic Health, Safety and Environmental principles and hazard identification and risk management within an industrial workplace
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills and the ability to form effective working relationships
• Analytical, problem solving & decision-making skills
Qualifications for this position are:
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering or geoscience discipline or relative experience
• Western Australian Unrestricted Quarry Manager Certification (desirable)
