The Role
This position is to work on the Brisbane Airport project, which will be running for the next few years. This role will be landside within the existing terminal, with a wide range of scope across structural, fitout and facade as part of a wide refurbishment. It is staged works, with a large variety of different works within a live environment so planning is key.
You may review construction work and provide expert, technical input on applicable compliance requirements, investigating and proactively recommending improvement to ensure delivery in accordance with relevant standards and within agreed timeframe and budgetary parameters.
Your background
Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction related discipline (or equivalent skills and knowledge),
Combined 6 years or more experience on large scale building projects
Strong knowledge of Construction practices, and/or knowledge of general building design and construction principles.
You will have strong problem solving ability
You are able to exercises independent judgement within defined practices and procedures.
