We are in the market for an outstanding individual to coordinate and deliver the building services and related services preventative maintenance program and reactive maintenance works including regular audits and inspections to the City’s Major Buildings and Facilities.  

You will be someone who is able to get this done through the effective and efficient management of City staff and contractors.

What can you bring to the team?

  • Diploma or higher or demonstrated equivalent qualification(s) associated with management of facilities;
  • Aquatic Technical Operations Course or demonstrated experience;
  • Minimum of five years’ delivering maintenance programs for multiple facilities;
  • Current unrestricted ‘C’ class driver’s licence;
  • Construction Safety Induction Card;
  • Minimum of five years’ experience managing staff, contractors and budgets;
  • In-depth knowledge of building systems and infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems;
  • Sound understanding of legislative requirements related to building maintenance, work health and safety and environmental compliance;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships;
  • Strong time management and organisational skills with the flexibility to work autonomously across different sites.

The finer details

This permanent full-time Level 7 position attracts a starting salary $107,846 gross per annum dependent on qualifications and experience as well as a restricted private use of a City vehicle (contributory).
