Fortescue is seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to lead the combined NPI Carpentry, Plumbing and Trades Assistant team for Infrastructure Services Eliwana. Reporting to the NPI Superintendent, this permanent full-time position will oversee the safe, effective and timely maintenance of our NPI assets.
Key Responsibilities- Delivery of "Shift Targets" in alignment with weekly planning.
- Ensuring that contractors meet their contractual agreements, safety and quality KPI's, and also align with legislative requirements.
- Overseeing planned maintenance work and ensuring completion in a timely manner and to high quality.
- Timely completion of maintenance inspections and audits of sites and facilities, along with efficient completion of subsequent follow up action.
- Maintaining site stock and resource levels to meet continual site service requirements.
- Ensuring relevant maintenance management documents and associated files are updated and maintained.
- Provide advice to Superintendent and Manager on proposed site works, particularly surrounding major and CAPEX works.
- Trade qualification in Carpentry, Plumbing, or minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated personnel leadership experience with dedication to safety.
- Sound experience with contract and contractor management.
- Capability to provide direction to multidisciplinary teams within the NPI maintenance scope.
- Solid ability surrounding maintenance program coordination.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including both written and verbal communication skills.
- Great ability interacting with individuals and groups of varying levels of authority to achieve positive outcomes.
- High level of organisation skills with capacity to meet deadlines whilst managing multiple functions simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and associated costs for control management and reporting functionalities.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative, be self-directed, and work under minimal supervision.
- High level of commitment to the provision of quality services and contributing to a positive team environment.
- Demonstrated computer literacy with the MS Office suite of programs.
- Exposure or solid working knowledge of the SAP Maintenance Management System.
