About the Role
Caval Ridge open cut coal mine is located around 200km west of Mackay, in Queensland Australia. The mine utilises two draglines, dozer push and excavators for overburden removal to expose coal.
- Roster - 7 on, 7 off rotating day night shifts

We are looking for energetic, progressive and collaborative leaders to join our Production leadership team as Dragline and Production Dozer Supervisors.
Reporting to the Superintendent Production and leading a diverse team you will:
- Lead, coach and mentor team members to deliver on plan and build a high performing team
- Develop and lead a culture of inclusion and diversity
- Working in a proactive business culture and with a supportive management structure, you'll have the chance to promote business excellence through your team and you'll make full use of your broad range of skills in the areas of continuous improvement, technical knowledge and communication
- Demonstrate and instil an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development
You will be able to demonstrate your successes leading diverse teams to deliver exceptional safety and operational results. As well as;
- A strong understanding of the risks of the supervisor position and SHMS, with experience in facilitating risk management investigations
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written along with your ability to influence stakeholders by setting direction, providing sufficient communications to gain agreement and commitment at all levels while taking accountability and have an action oriented working style
- Exposure to all levels of the organisation, and this role will see you develop influential relationships with multiple functions and stakeholders, including senior leadership
- Experience working in, around Draglines and dozer push is highly desirable for the Supervisor position
- Ideally you will have completed the S123 / G2 courses
