We are currently looking for a friendly, professional and organised Medical Receptionist to join our team at Multicare Family Medical Centre, open 7 days a week. We provide an excellent working environment with friendly staff and patients. We are a busy well established privately owned General Practice.
Qualifications & experience
- Must have some experience in admin and computer skills
- Must be able to learn quickly and multi task
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work co-operatively in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Tasks & responsibilities
- You will be managing patient relationships and helping our patients feel comfortable and respected. As part of that patient journey, you will also be involved in the administrative tasks that are critical for their care. Some of your tasks will be:
- Answering telephone calls and enquiries Booking and managing patient appointments Processing consultation payments and Medicare rebates Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence (pathology, referrals, imaging)
