Roster: 8D6R - FIFO ex Perth or residential in Hedland Key Responsibilities Lead a team of Emergency Service and Security Professionals Structure and Coordinate Training programs for site personnel Participate in site audits and site security Provide medical services, including AOD testing, where required To provide leadership and training services for the Emergency Response volunteer group and other site departments in emergency management practices To provide service delivery in emergency preparedness planning, high risk rescue plans and in field interactions with workplace personnel To provide advice and conduct audits and inspections relating to cyclone preparedness, emergency preparedness and bushfire readiness across the business To prepare and maintain emergency response equipment to operational standards ensuring effective responses to site emergency events To develop and review safe work instructions, guidelines, procedures, plans and policies relating to emergency practices and adhering to industry best practices Qualifications and Experience Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and/or Certificate III in Public Safety (Fire Fighting and Emergency Operations) Cert IV in Pre-Hospital Care Cert II Security Officer WA Class HR Driver’s license HLTPAT 005 Collect Specimens for drugs of abuse testing Diploma of Leadership and Management Cert IV in Training and Assessing Experience in Budget management inclusive of CAPEX and OPEX budgets an d forecasts Minimum 5 years on site ESO experience within the resources industry Our Commitment Fortescue is deeply committed to providing a safe culture that builds respect, fosters inclusiveness, and values diversity.
