80 hours per fortnight, Non Rostered Shift Work.
DutiesWork collaboratively with the DPFEM Work Health and Safety team to ensure policy, procedures and systems are in place within the Tasmania Fire Service (TFS) to comply with Work Health and Safety legislation.
The position plays an important part in the achievement of TFS Work Health and Safety goals, including coordinating and contributing to policy initiatives, coordinating responses to WHS matters, engagement with key stakeholders and identifying areas of risk to TFS and developing effective solutions.
Essential Requirements- Attained the rank of a Station Officer in accordance with the Tasmanian Fire Fighting Industry Employees Award qualifications (or equivalent).

- A relevant qualification in Work Health and Safety or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- A current driver’s licence.
