This is a busy environment with many guests so maintaining the home to a high standard is essential to ensure it is always clean and inviting. You will oversee the day-to-day operation of the non-clinical services including catering, cleaning and laundry. You will provide leadership to the hospitality team as part of the wider management team within the residential home.
Your role will be varied and may look different day to day, but your key responsibilities will include:
- Supervise, assign duties and work within a team to ensure provision of quality catering, cleaning and laundry services
- Monitor compliance and ensure various safety standards and procedures at met including food handling, dietary requirements, health and safety, cleaning and infection control
- Monitor and report on budget performance and ensure efficient usage of supplies
- Be involved in all aspects of the employee lifestyle including recruitment, education and performance management
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the strategic direction by participating in formal planning
