Position Summary
Supervisor of Junior Doctor Training - Angliss Hospital and Peter James Centre
- Part-time, 12 months fixed-term
- Based at Angliss Hospital but oversees support, education and training and supervision for junior medical staff at Peter James Centre and Angliss Hospital

About the role
Provide leadership in medical education and training, and welfare for our junior medical staff. To support effective supervision, teaching and education program, and career progression of Junior Doctors, and support activities maintaining the accreditation of Eastern Health's prevocational education and training program. This position offers opportunity to gain leadership experience in medical education and training program accreditation, whilst working in a supportive team.
About you
To be successful in this role you should possess:
- Current medical registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regular Agency (Ahpra)
- Have specialist medical registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regular Agency (Ahpra) Fellowship or if not, have;
- significant clinical experience,
- significant experience in medical education/teaching, and
- significant familiarity with the health service.
- A commitment to medical education and training and Junior Doctor welfare.
- Proactive approach in managing duties and responsibilities with accountability
- Exhibit behaviour which reflects the Eastern Health values
