We are looking for a Recycling Supervisor to be the face of Containers for Change Derby Depot with great customer Service, attention to detail and organisation skills in a diverse and fast paced environment working from our Recycling Yard here in Derby, W.A.
The role will be a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Ideal Candidate will;
- Be reliable and available during main working hours
- Fit & Healthy with the ability to work in the local outside environment alongside the Recycling Counting Staff in a fast paced environment
- Able to organise a small team on a daily basis
- Able to complete pre-employment medical and D & A Testing.
- Maintain a Clean & Safe Work Area
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word etc
- Work with it systems including POS (Point of Sale) Software on a Tablet
- Maintain accurate records both hard copy and electronic
- Create Manifests for the pick up of Bulk Recycling up to twice per week
- Constantly make improvements to the Site to ensure that it is WHS Compliant
- Be Security and Safety Conscious including dealing with the Public
- Be Friendly and Professional when dealing with Staff, the Public and other Stake Holders
- Create a Positive Team Environment and Mentor younger or less skilled staff
- Carry out Pre-Starts and Safety Checks of all Plant & Equipment Daily
- Experienced in Operating of a Forklift in tight spaces i.e. Warehouses, Freight Depots etc
- Experienced in the use of basic hand tools and power tools
- Ability to provide up to date reports both internally and back to other Stake Holders
- Think of ways to improve Operations and meet deadlines
Must have:
- C Class Drivers Licence
- LF High Risk Work Licence (Operate Forklift)
- White Card (Construction Awareness Card)
- Working With Children Check
- National Police Clearance
