Due to company growth, we are currently seeking several experienced Supervisors to join our team in the execution of workshop, projects, maintenance and shutdown works within the Kalgoorlie and Goldfields region.
Based in Kalgoorlie, this is a residential role.
Candidates must have a high level of communication skills and be capable of running crews as well as meeting deadlines whilst working safely and adhering to all OHS requirements. The Supervisors are required to prepare quotations, liaise with clients and manage jobs in line with technical and budgetary requirements. Successful applicants must be able to operate independently and, when required, at remote sites. Those capable of working within a flexible roster will be highly regarded for these positions.
Shortlisted candidates will possess:
- Trade qualifications or extensive relevant experience
- Be fully Covid vaccinated by 1st January 2022
- Ability to pass a medical and D&A Screen
- Previous Supervisory experience within the Mining sector
- Flexible work roster which will require you to stay ‘on site’ from time to time
- Willingness to work “on the tools” when necessary
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to meet client expectations and timelines
- Uphold health and safety standards and proactively assist others
- Ability to develop and implement operational improvement strategies.
- Demonstrated ability leading and managing personnel
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
Site Services Supervisor
About the Role:
- Undertake scoping, estimating and planning site works
- Managing the logistics of obtaining materials and preparing equipment for site works
- Lead a team of trades to execute site works ranging from small projects to maintenance works on large processing plants
- Develop and mentor team members
- Develop good relationships with clients, interfacing with them on all aspects of job execution
Scaffolding Supervisor
About the Role:
- Scoping, estimating & planning site works
- Coordinate/ schedule work force for upcoming and ongoing jobs
- On site supervisory works at a range of sites
- Operational compliance with scaffolding and industry regulations and standards
- Managing all aspects of client interface in the performance of works
- Mentoring and developing team members
- Assisting with recruiting new team members and growing the scaffolding business
Blast & Paint Supervisor
About the Role:
- Supervise day-to-day operation of our industrial paint and blast division
- Planning & coordinating the weekly and daily tasks for your team including managing rosters and materials for the successful completion of works both in our Workshop facility & onsite
- Estimating & Quoting for all sandblasting and painting requests
- Actively participate in running daily toolbox talks and pre-starts
- Interfacing with clients on all aspects of completing painting and blasting works.
- Grow the industrial paint and blast division by seeking new works and assisting in the recruiting of additional team members.
