Job Description
Grow your career with a global retailer as a Supply Chain Coordinator within our National Supply Chain Management department at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. This is a full-time permanent opportunity.
As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will drive the seamless flow of freight through to our distribution centres. With an eye on continuous improvement, increasing the availability and handling of stock, we are looking for a proactive individual with a robust understanding of an agile and fast-paced FMCG environment.
What does the role look like?
- Provide timely and accurate information related to the status of freight movement to streamline operations and reduce lead times for delivery to our DC's
- Maintaining accuracy of various Supply Chain matrixes, templates and spreadsheets
- Collaborate with various stakeholders in order to collate accurate information and data
- Build and maintain the relationship with freight carriers and external stakeholders
- Analyse discrepancies while partnering with stakeholders and provide solutions to Deliver On Time (DOT)
- Process high volume of invoices and investigate discrepancies
Qualifications
What do we need from you?
- Experience within Supply Chain, Logistics and/or Transport highly regarded
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy with an ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and continually improve quality of work and efficiency
- Strong understanding on data management and interpreting analytics to consider the larger picture
- Prior experience using SAP desirable
