Supply Chain Manager

As the Supply Chain Manager, you will manage the purchasing, procurement, inventory and Supply Chain team through a full manufacturing life cycle.

We are partnering with a Global leader in the Mining Equipment & Technology Manufacturing space, to recruit a Supply Chain Manager.
Reporting to the General Manager; you will be managing a small team, while responsible for supporting all aspects of the Supply Chain to ensure a steady flow of materials and accurate inventory levels are maintained for engineering & manufacturing projects.
About The Role:

• Analysis of Supply Chain risks and operational data to ensure effective Purchasing performance.
• Development and maintenance of strong supplier relationships.
• Rapidly communicate any upcoming supply shortfalls.
• End to end purchasing and procurement management.
• Maintain systems with purchasing updates and time schedules.
• Provide updates to engineering and manufacturing on delivery dates of inventory.
• Manage rescheduling requests in line with Supply Chain strategy.
• Manage inventory, lead times, and minimum/maximum stock levels.
• Work very closely with the Engineering, Fabrication & Operations Manager across a full manufacturing life-cycle.

Requirements:

• Relevant education, qualifications or industry experience relating to logistics, procurement, or Supply Chain.
• 5+ years of Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in heavy machinery or mobile equipment; desirable.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple projects and competing deadlines.
• Strong knowledge and experience using inventory management ERP software.
• Highly developed commercial and analytical skills with an ability to remain focused on outputs.
