We are building a team that brings diverse perspectives to the table and we empower our people to make a real difference in the workplace — and the world.Join us as we pave the way toward a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable world.About the RoleThis newly created position performs a critical role in Relectrify's ability to achieve its ambitious development roadmap by helping to establish, nurture and grow the international Supply Chain partnerships necessary for us to deliver our ground-breaking products in target markets around the world.The successful candidate will be responsible for securing cost effective, high quality, and reliable Supply Chain partners for Relectrify’s battery energy storage products (modules and full BES units) including contract manufacturers, cell suppliers and other vendor partners. The role will have responsibility for negotiating pricing, warranty and other contract terms with vendors, and managing the on-going relationships with Supply Chain partners as products are developed and put into production.RequirementsEssential requirements:
- Experience establishing and negotiating new Supply Chain partnerships in conjunction with the development of new products, ideally with disruptive technology products
- Experience managing Supply Chains across multiple countries e.g. Asia, Australia & USA
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to visit Supply Chain partners
- Formal qualification/s in business, logistics, or Supply Chain
- Experience with battery energy storage, lithium batteries or related technology
- Experience with sophisticated electronics products
- Experience working in a fast-paced scale-up technology business environment
- Business-level language proficiency in any of Mandarin, Korean or Japanese in addition to English
