A newly created opportunity has become available for a seasoned Supply Chain professional looking to join a boutique specialist agency assisting some of Australia’s largest brands in FMCG, retail, and consumer products, as well as machinery and equipment. This extremely impressive agency is on the lookout for a resilient Supply Chain professional who has a previous track record in executing transformation projects across large operations.
The Role
For the right candidate, the responsibilities will include but won't be limited to:
- Work on executing multiple projects for a variety of clients across their Warehousing, Distribution, and Manufacturing.
- Projects may include system implementation, transformation projects such as automation, greenfield site step ups, etc.
- Provide consistent communication and education to all clients on progression of project.
- Regular onsite visits and tracking of projects from start to finish.
- Produce and present all cost analyses to benefit and support decision-making.
- Create recommendations based on business requirements for new and current operational initiatives.
- At least 6 years’ experience in strategic Supply Chain/Logistics roles.
- Previous experience in developing and executing large transformation projects ideally within FMCG.
- Expert knowledge of Supply Chain, Warehousing and Distribution.
- Previous experience with automation, large system implementation and remapping distribution centres is essential.
- Ability to communicate and present to key stakeholders internal/external.
- Solutions focused and ability/experience delivering large projects.
