Key responsibilities (text) • This role is temporary, full time 76 hours per/fortnight. Contract ends in October 2025.
- The work location this for the role is IKEA Service Office Tempe.
- This role is open to hybrid working including a minimum of 3 days in Service Office Tempe.
- No relocation support will be provided.
- If your application is successful, you will be required to attend a 2-day Welcome induction.
- As part of the recruitment process this role requires a pre-employment check for final candidates.
- If you are successful for this role, you will be required to obtain a national police check.
Team vision (text) As Supply Chain Purchaser & Developer (New Zealand Project) your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Leading all the assigned sourcing activities, projects and initiatives in the New Zealand market and responsible for securing that the results meet the actual goals connected to the project plan.
- Securing the Source to Contract system landscape is followed through the sourcing process.
- Securing the sourcing development and implementation for all service products in the New Zealand market (e.g. final mile delivery, assembly & installation) through CFF & Sourcing business initiative priorities
- End to end mind-set with various stakeholders to ensure sourcing projects and activities are delivered to project goal & objectives.
- Supporting the Group Sourcing Process in the market including the Group Legal contract maintenance and for securing the ongoing compliance of all contractual obligations.
- Securing long term sourcing development and implementation for customer fulfilment capacities utilising blended sourcing options. through driving the Fulfilment Development Process in the market.
- Leading all the assigned sourcing activities, projects and initiatives in the New Zealand market and responsible for securing that the results meet the actual goals connected to the project plan.
- Implementation & adherence to the Global Sourcing Process in the market.
- Ensuring that the Customer Fulfilment sustainability agenda is included in all aspect of the business directly connected to and influenced by Strategic Sourcing, and primarily securing zero emission targets are secured via purchase and development activities in market.
Let´s connect As Supply Chain Purchaser & Developer (New Zealand Project) you are or you have:
- Customer orientated and centric, you see the customer first and consider the impact on the customer when taking decisions.
- Experience in purchasing and tender processes, ideally within scope of Customer Fulfilment; Supply Chain, Transport, logistic warehousing or service fulfilment.
- Data driven, have strong experience in Sourcing or Procurement system environments as well as business analysis.
- A strong interest in developing your skills with contract management, negotiations, and project management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and supplier relationship management; understanding what to communicate when and to who, with business & financial data and market intelligence to support you.
- Demonstrated analytical capability and can translate opportunities to drive the business forward.
