We are looking for a 6 month fixed termSupply Officer to join our team to provide support to our Supply teams. The successful applicant will be provided with training to work in a medical warehouse environment.

About the role
Calvary Hobart is seeking a friendly and welcoming person to join our Supply Department. We deliver supplies to Theatres, Wards and Administration areas for both Lenah Valley and St John’s hospital campuses.
We are looking for a skilled Data Entry person to join the Lenah Valley Supply team to provide processing support to key Supply Department roles which include invoice processing, prosthesis processing and order pricing amendments.
This position will also provide customer service support to the Supply Department reception desk and will provide support where necessary for Supply Department general stock service delivery as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge of supply chain logistics and medical warehouse experience is desired but not essential
- Proven excellent data entry skills essential to this role
- Knowledge of warehousing software (not essential) and general Microsoft applications essential
- Ensure a high standard of internal and external customer service in all areas
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work both within a team environment and autonomously
- To carry out any other reasonable supply department duties as requested by the supply manager
- Comply with relevant Calvary work health and safety policies, procedures, work instructions and requests
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
