A Day in the Life
We are currently in an exciting time as the business is embracing best practice Supply chain principles and this role will be an opportunity to be at the forefront of this. Reporting to the ANZ Senior Supply Chain Planning Manager and based in our office in Sydney, the Supply Chain Planner will play an integral role in the ANZ Supply Planning for our Cardiovascular operating units. This is a maternity leave contract (12 months) based in Sydney Head Office in Macquarie Park. The role has flexible/hybrid work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate business partnering with Product Managers, Marketing Managers, Territory Managers, and other internal stakeholders.
- Manage key inventory planning functions to provide quality and timely service to internal and external customers.
- Review the weekly inventory levels and ad hoc reports as required for the Business and place Stock Transfer Orders with appropriate Sourcing Plants and to Downstream locations/Agents.
- Liaise with Product Managers and Sales staff to help formulate strategies for inventory optimisation, taking into account changing market dynamics, phase in and phase out plans for other influences.
- Monitor and improve product availability in conjunction with identifying initiatives to optimise inventory levels.
- Work with Inventory team to maintain focus on potential inventory obsolescence write off risks.
- Report as required to the stakeholders on product availabilities to facilitate the distribution to customers.
- Review and update Enterprise Inventory Optimisation (EIO) targets.
- Maintain data integrity of system master data to enable the planning system to generate accurate supply chain plans.
- Degree in business or formal tertiary qualification in Supply Chain/Operations Management
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role, with an emphasis on Supply Chain Planning
- Able to demonstrate a solid background in Supply Planning with good understanding of Supply Chain Principles
- Able to demonstrate a background in Supply Chain Analysis
- Experience with advanced supply chain planning systems such as SAP R3, APO SNP
