Your new role
- Planning of all materials to meet production schedule across both raw materials and packaging in line with customer demand, working with stakeholders across all key business functions.
- Management of stock on hand, balancing the need to avoid out of stocks with the financial impact of holding too much inventory, analysing inventory levels to make recommendations on company policy.
- Working directly with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, building strong working relationships, maintaining quality standards, minimising lead times and maximising cost efficiency.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement across the supply chain planning function, drawing support from key stakeholders in management and across the business to enact changes.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a similar role, with demonstrated understanding of supply chain planning, inventory control and MRP, with relevant qualifications highly regarded.
- Strong IT proficiency, with proven ERP systems knowledge, mid-to-high level MS Excel, and competency generating reports, analysing data etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on delivering high levels of customer service, and the ability to build firm working relationships with key parties both internal and external.
