About the role:
Vidacorp is seeking a Supply Planner to take charge of managing our Global Supply Chain network's inventory, ensuring impeccable service delivery. managing the inventory for the Global Supply Chain network to ensure the right service is delivered. This position will need to ensure that optimal stock policy is established and maintained in order to maximise business revenue and profitability
Key responsibilities:
- Support and drive the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, collaborating with the wider supply chain team and cross-functional/regional stakeholders.
- Deliver agile and effective supply plans through the chain of replenishment, ensuring smooth operations from production to distribution across global hubs.
- Manage and optimize replenishment processes for subsidiary markets, including allocation of stock, shipments, and stock movements between regions.
- Optimize Safety Stock based on ABC analysis and related rules to ensure optimal service levels.
- Generate and issue reporting related to Out of Stock (OOS) situations and communicate them to all subsidiaries.
- Collaborate with the International Logistics Coordinator to manage monthly sailing schedules and import/export load planning.
- Support inventory-related analysis and reporting, facilitating continuous improvement of the planning system.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, driving best service and aligning action plans to meet inventory requirements.
- Ideally 4+ years in Supply Chain Planning experience in a beauty/FMCG company, indicating specialized industry knowledge and expertise.
- Experience working with mass-market distribution and retailers, highlighting familiarity with key aspects of the industry's operational dynamics.
- Experience working across a global footprint, demonstrating adaptability to diverse cultural and logistical contexts.
- Ability to build effective and influential relationships in a cross-functional team environment and manage senior stakeholders, essential for collaborative success and driving initiatives forward.
Skills/Quals we need:
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, for comprehensive data analysis and reporting.
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or Business-related field, indicating a strong foundation in relevant knowledge areas.
- Razor-sharp analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate, analyze, and present data effectively, essential for making informed decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills, crucial for fostering collaborative relationships across various departments and levels within the organization.
