About you
- Background in, or a strong understanding of supply chain planning
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with process modelling and analysis tools is a plus.
- Communicate effectively and with influence with all levels of the organization. This includes being able to clearly articulate ideas, provide feedback, and explain complex concepts in a simple manner.
- Think strategically and provide guidance and direction to the team. This includes identifying opportunities for improvement, developing strategies to achieve business objectives, and providing innovative solutions.
- Possess strong analytical skills and be able to analyse data and identify trends and exception.
- Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to effectively deal with ambiguity and complex scenarios
- Be part of a project team and work to tight deadlines
- Drive collaboration across business stakeholders, understand their needs and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Background in optimisation and projects.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Planning, the S&OP Supply Planning Analyst will work to implement a Supply planning cycle and process at TGE, including:
- Set up and maintain operational supply capability levels for Labour, Site Handling, PUD and Linehaul.
- Set up, maintain, and test a transit matrix used for allocation of demand forecasts to depots and linehaul lanes.
- Propose and deploy optimisation initiatives across Labour, Site Handling, PUD, Fleet and Linehaul in collaboration with the operations teams.
- Lead operations and other teams in the design and deployment of the S&OP process.
- Manage operations teams in the facilitation of the S&OP process, ensuring adherence to the set meeting cadences.
- Partner with operations teams to embed the S&OP process.
- Design dashboards for various uses and users in operations.
- Analyse S&OP outputs to determine accuracy and identify improvement opportunities.
- Be part of a project team and work to tight deadlines
- Drive collaboration across business stakeholders, understand their needs and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Challenge and manage a diverse group of stakeholders and to ensure project deliverables and timelines are met.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support the successful implementation of process improvement initiatives.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of the business.
