About the Supply Planning Analyst Role:
As the S&OP Supply Planning Analystyou will help implement S&OP Supply Planning cycles & processes, whilst proposing additional optimisation strategies of TGE's vast transport networks. You will work closely with Operations teams to successfully document supply capabilities across TGE, set up and maintain the monthly planning cycle meetings, and propose & deploy optimisation initiatives within operations across multiple BUs.
Duties & responsibilities will typically include data analysis, data extraction, involvement with operational optimisation/continuous improvement initiatives, and presenting to senior stakeholders. In addition:
Setting up and maintaining operational supply capability levels for labour, site handling, PUD and linehaul.
Setting up, maintaining, and testing a transit matrix used for allocation of demand forecasts to depots and linehaul lanes.
Leading operations and other teams in the design and deployment of the S&OP process.
Designing dashboards for various uses and users in operations.
Analysing S&OP outputs to determine accuracy and identify improvement opportunities.
Analysing S&OP outputs to identify, develop and deploy optimising initiatives .
Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of the business.
What you'll bring to the Supply Planning Analyst role:
This role would suit a supply chain professional with solid analytical skills, as well as having gained experience collaborating, project management with other teams and managing execution of plans.
- Background in, or a strong understanding of supply chain planning
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, able to clearly identify trends and exceptions
- Experience with process modelling and analysis tools (preferred)
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple manner
- Background in optimisation and projects
