The Opportunity
The purpose of this role is to build demand and supply forecasts through facilitation of alignment between Buying Teams, Sales Forecasting and Suppliers; including but not limited to seasonal and major events. You will achieve this through effective planning with suppliers to identify efficiencies internally and externally, timely planning for key events as well as proactively securing supply during periods of supply shortages.

What you'll do
- Effective use of Woolworths Distribution Centre inventory through monitoring of stock levels and leveraging network to generate actions to maintain appropriate stock levels to maximise availability to stores.
- Ensuring relevant stakeholders are informed of Supply Chain changes that may influence service, inventory and stores, Buying or Suppliers.
- Planning and execution of promotional activity appropriate for Suppliers while maintaining service and appropriate inventory.
- Forming a tailor made operating rhythm with appropriate stakeholders to ensure alignment on Buying, Sales planning and Suppliers plans to maximise service and Supply chain efficiency..
- Ensuring that regular Business planning/collaboration meetings are facilitated to keep appropriate stakeholders up to date with meaningful strategies to improve service, inventory or efficiency.
What you'll bring
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Microsoft or Google applications.
- Experience in FMCG or general retail in Supply Planning, procurement, replenishment or retail management.
- Ability to build deep collaborative relationships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify patterns and trends in data.
- Knowledge of JDA, SAP or other software related to supply/ supply chain planning would be an advantage
