About the Opportunity
Bankstown Hospital is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and energetic Linen Supply Officer to join their dynamic General Services team.
This is a high energy role that sees you ordering, delivering and collecting linen around our hospital. We have a large number of beds in our facility and you will be working in a small team to make sure our service runs effectively.
You will be highly organized and able to navigate the online ordering portal to ensure the Linen stock levels are maintained for the hospital. We are looking for someone who is a great communicator and can liaise with the Nurse Unit Managers to ensure stock levels of linen are delivered and collected in a timely and efficient manner. Your strong problem solving skills will help you thrive in this role and you will be able to think outside the square to combat any issues which may arise.
The role will also see you assisting the team with the collection of other waste streams and you will require a strong understanding of WHS as the role involves a variety of manual handling tasks as well as dealing with clinical waste and soiled linen from across the hospital.

- Ability to liaise with staff at all levels
- Demonstrated experience in warehouse distribution
- Demonstrated knowledge of bar-coding or computer based systems
- Physically able to perform the duties required
- Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
