ABOUT THE ROLE
An opportunity exists for a Customer Service Operator, to join this growing business based in Ingleburn to cover Maternity leave (12 Months).
This role involves providing great service and support to clients, ensuring their goods are shipped on time.
There is an opportunity for continued employment after the contract term, for the right person.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Quoting, scheduling and tracking customer Sea Freight consignments.
- Creation and checking of status reports
- Creating and maintaining customer relationships
- Work as part of a small team sharing the workload & cross training
- Multitasking & prioritizing urgent issues, to best service the customers
- Proactive handling of urgent or/and any delayed shipments
- Deliver a great experience to our customers.
- Develop relationships with service providers
- Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company's procedures
SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
- Experience in Freight Forwarding highly regarded as is exposure to the Cargowise system
- Excellent communication skills (Written and spoken English)
- Excellent general computer skills
- Effective time management
- To be able to work as part of a team to achieve common goals
