How will I help?
As the Support Analyst within the Customer Banking Services (CBS) Reconciliations team, you will play a key role in managing the resolutions of outstanding Transaction Threshold Reporting (TTR) and ensuring accurate reporting to Austrac within the 10 Day reporting obligation. You will also be responsible for the effective management of risk through rigorous engagement with the relevant teams across Group Operations as well as the Westpac Institutional Banking (WIB) and Business Banking divisions.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage outstanding TTR records to resolution within SLA and compliance timeframes
- Maintain daily discipline in completing daily outstanding TTR report verifications
- Support the Financial Crimes team by responding to enquiries same day
- Track scenarios that cause impact to TTR reporting and delays in resolving.
- Liaise with WIB, Business Bank and Group Operations teams, as applicable, achieving timely response on required information.
- Risk and issue management, via production Tolerance reporting and MOET testing
- Stakeholder management
- Optimisation via CI for reconciliations simplification.

What do I need?
To be successful in this role you will need:
- An understanding of the banking market in Australia - including the challenges, trends, competitive & regulatory environment and BEDs
- An understanding of reconciliation fundamentals together with associated TTR compliance reporting obligations
- Have a strong track record of change experience with at least 3 years demonstrable experience in managing highly complex change initiatives, developing, and implementing organisational strategies
- Have a proven ability to successfully transition people and the business from a 'program' mode to BAU
- Sound relationship building and influencing skills
- Analytical, problem-solving and time management skills
- Risk mindset and focus.
