Payroll Metrics is seeking to fill the position of Customer Support Consultant with the focus on supporting end users.
Payroll Metrics is a software developer specialising in payroll and workforce management (rosters, timesheet management time recording) software for Australian employers, delivered as a SaaS solution in Microsoft’s Azure cloud.
The Customer Support Consultant via our Service Desk will be responsible for assisting customers with product troubleshooting and software support in a timely matter. As a great communicator, you will also be required to provide support via phone and Teams sessions. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll processing and practical experience in pay office procedures.
The Customer Support team reports to the Customer Support Manager.
The role of Customer Support Consultant is pivotal:
- Work with customers to understand their payroll issues and identify a solution in a timely manner.
- Review and provide feedback on the payroll system setup based on customer requirements.
- Liaise with and provide support to the Technical Services team when resolving issues.
- Assist in developing and improving Payroll Metrics’ customer relationships.
- Provide support to customers on the use of our payroll platform.
Payroll Metrics will provide you with knowledge of its software through training and collaboration activities with Customer Support team members.
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- payroll knowledge,
- experience in customer service,
- ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively,
- strong communication skills, with an excellent telephone manner,
- the proven ability to quickly learn new payroll software,
- excellent written and verbal skills.
The salary for this position will be $65,000+ depending on proven skills and expertise plus SGC at the legislated rate.
Payroll Metrics is located in Oakleigh, Melbourne. Working from home arrangements in all States are accepted for suitable candidates.
