Just Coordination of Supports (Just COS) provides only Support Coordination services – Level 2, Level 3 and Recovery Coaching. We are looking for another passionate, self-directed person to join our fast growing team.
Your new role
A Support Coordinator and Recovery Coach plays a critical role in supporting NDIS participants and their support network to navigate the NDIS, understand their NDIS plans, and support them to connect with local providers and community-based programs. As a Support Coordinator/Recovery Coach, you will deliver high-quality transition support for people living with varying circumstances and levels of complexity, you will support them to build their capacity, independence and exercise their choice and control.
Your experience
To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant qualification (Cert IV in Community Services and/or extensive experience working within the disability sector) and;
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the disability sector
- Experience in reading, understanding and implementing NDIS plans
- Experience in connecting participants to services using a person centered approach
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build strong relationships
- Current driver's license, reliable car and willingness to travel to clients where required
- High level of stress resilience and emotional intelligence
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid Certificate
- Working with Children Check
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and use initiative
- High level of organisational skills, and excellent time management skills, to work independently and manage own caseload
- Excellent IT, administrative and report writing skills
- Ability to manage budgets, negotiate and mediate, and strong ability to solve problems
