The Role
We are seeking a full-time permanent Housing Support Coordinator to join our Central team based in Haymarket.
The Housing Support Coordinator works within the wider Customer and Communities teams and is responsible for providing specialist advice and support service brokerage for clients with complex support and housing needs.
This is achieved through the development and coordination of partnerships with key support agencies, participating in the development of wellbeing plans for tenants with complex needs and contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
The priority for all Housing Support Coordinators is tenant satisfaction and sustainment and upholding our values in every step and action.
Day to Day Responsibilities
• Working to the Customer Service Charter and Housing policies and procedures
• Building and maintaining relationships with tenants, support providers, and communities
• Providing specialist advice
• Creating referral pathways for clients and coordinating support services
• Advocating for tenants with complex cases and needs
• Developing wellbeing plans for intensive case management
• Understanding and implementing processes in line with policies and legislation
• Actioning administrative duties in a timely manner within the SDM software and other relevant IT system
Our Housing Support Coordinators have versatile skills and backgrounds including…
• Degrees or relevant experience in Social Work or relevant discipline
• Knowledge of social housing and the homelessness, health and welfare service system in NSW
• Experience coordinating care and supports for people with complex needs
• Understanding of community engagement and trauma-informed practice
• Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures

Our Housing Support Coordinators need to have a current and valid drivers license. They also need to be willing to obtain a Criminal Record Check.
