Support Engineer JUNIOR - Level 1 - Brisbane
This is an INITIAL 1 month contract
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Must HaveSOME:
• Knowledge of Active Directory, ADFS, Azure Active Directory, Rights Management Services (RMS)
• Support connectivity issues for LAN and WiFi connections. Good understanding of TCP/IP and LAN / WAN networking.
• Work with end user technologies that facilitate BYOD (CYOD, COPE etc..)
RESPONSIBILITIES
EUC tasks
• Good understanding of Laptop, desktop, software, imagining.
• Build and maintain good understanding stakeholder relationships.
• Understand business priorities, impact, and urgency across all areas.
• Coordinate with 3rd Party vendors for delivery of IT equipment.
• Escalate issues to vendors, and work towards resolution e.g., Kiosks, Scanners, Printers etc
ITIL
• Ensure ITIL practices are followed by team.
• Good understanding of incident management P1,P2,P3,P4
• Should know Request, changes, problem management.
• Should know the on-call process while raising the critical issues
General
• Ensure that best practices and standards are followed.
• Identifying the areas of improvement and implement them within timelines.
• Initiate, demonstrate, and assume ownership of improvement areas of functionalities.
• Follow established guidelines, processes, design standards and enterprise development.
Stock management
• Manage hardware stock level, and order IT equipment as required.
• Always ensure availability of end user devices.
