Due to recent expansion and continued growth, a Level 1Support Engineer role is now available.

About the Role

This is an entry level role perfect for those with new to the IT industry who have just completed studies or have equivalent prior experience.

Reporting to a Technical Services Manager and liaising with the wider IT support team, who are all hugely customer relationship focused. Opportunities will be provided to the successful candidate to have access to appropriate training resources to gain industry qualifications.

The successful candidate would have a solid understanding of all basic IT principles and knowledge of business IT technologies including the Microsoft stack including Office 365, Azure Active Directory and managing virtual environments. Some experience setting up and supporting networking is required including: routers, switches, wireless and Internet Connectivity.

Building trust with key stakeholders and managing client relationships will be an important part of your success.  

Key skills

  1. Microsoft Windows 8/10/11 Support and Troubleshooting
  2. Microsoft Office suite support and troubleshooting
  3. Knowledge of Windows Server
  4. Microsoft 365 and Azure knowledge is highly regarded.
  5. Experience in supporting mobile devices (smart phone, tablet)
  6. ITIL v3 trained and certified will be an advantage.
  7. High level of communication skills is a must!
  8. Excellent documentation skills
  9. Willingness to learn. Ongoing personal development is essential.
  10. A hard-working attitude and willing to go that extra mile for your team.
  11. Provide the highest level of Customer Service to all levels of the business.
  12. Must have a great hard working and positive attitude to work.

Desired Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in IT
  • IT Industry Certification (Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet etc)

This is a full time position
