About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader for our Support in Public Housing Program! You will work in collaboration with our community support team that provides housing and support to individuals with a history of homelessness and disadvantage. The aim of the Support in Public Housing Program (SPHP) is to assist these marginalised individuals by maximising their independence and their health.
Responsibilities include
- Ensure trauma informed and strengths based practice principles underpin the practice of supporting resident and client behaviours
- Provide clients with access to range of holistic Support including tailored brief interventions, capacity building activities and outreach support
- Build connections with internal TSA Programs, services, and streams
- Respond to resident and client feedback, complaints, and opportunities for improvement in timely and proactive manner
- Contribute to Critical Incident Management reporting and analysing data to make service improvements
This is a permanent full-time position, based in North Melbourne, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level 6.1.
What you will have
- Degree qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or related field (preferred)
- Demonstrated high level of sector knowledge and skills attained through previous appointments, service and study/development
- Relevant experience supervising staff
- A current Victorian Driver's Licence
