About the role
Representing TAFE NSW as ‘the face’ of the Cobar campus, this role is all about stakeholder engagement and management. A large part of your day will see you going out to the community, engaging and building trusting, authentic relationships, and developing an essential link between TAFE and the local community.
Building on your current local knowledge, you will be an active listener – taking details and ideas on how TAFE can better partner to deliver on business proposals that will benefit the people of Cobar. You’ll have good networking skills, and a flexible approach to your workday, allowing you to balance campus operations and stakeholder management.
This is a campus based role and the successful candidate will be required to work on site at Cobar TAFE.
About You
You enjoy applying your high level of customer service and can-do attitude and are motivated and engaged to coordinate and facilitate on the ground services. You have demonstrated experience in establishing relationships and networking with various stakeholders and can build a good rapport with your colleagues and community. You will have good negotiation and communication skills and are experienced with the Microsoft Office Suite. Working independently, you are a self-starter and results driven team member who can problem solve whilst managing competing priorities.
To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following essential requirements:
- Certificate IV in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience (minimum)
- Demonstrated success in building rapport with a wide range of people
Demonstrated success in monitoring and delivering services that meet customer needs
