We are looking to hire a casual employee who has previous experience in laundry and housekeeping. This role is based in our Cootamundra facility. Hours of work on offer are:
Cleaning 0700-1530 Monday-Friday and 0700-1500- weekends
Laundry 0700-1530 Monday 0700-1500- Tuesday - Friday 1000-1600- Monday 1000-1500 Tuesday and Fridays
The role will be located with our 55 bed facility in Cootamundra NSW.
As a Support Service Employee your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Assist with full range of domestic duties
- Clean picture frames, wall ornaments and sanitize all towel dispensers, light and air-conditioning switches
- Be responsible for the general cleanliness of the kitchen, including all appliances, storage areas, work benches and floors
- Prepare clothing, garments and linen for washing and drying and perform those duties using safe handling of laundry chemicals
- Make beds, change linen, turn mattress where necessary
- Wet dust all picture frames and wall ornaments
- Wet wipe and sanitize all towel dispensers, light and air-conditioning switches
- Wipe over all lights in front foyer, lounge, activities room, and at the entrance.
- Clean exhaust hoods in the kitchen
