Form of workAs Support Worker you will be required to care for a participant with high needs. This includes brain injury, substance abuse disorder, depression, anaphylaxis.
Duties will include but are not limited to assisting with daily living which could involve domestic and community assistance.
About You:
- Experience with high intellectual disabilities.
- Experience with clients who may harm you or themselves.
- Experience with complex care support.
- Experience with complex social support.
- Must have excellent English communication skills.
- Due to urgent start, we require the candidate to have NDIS, WWC, First Aid and CPR already complete. Upon offer, we will require these documents within 48 hours.
- Must have drivers license and car with insurance (compressive car insurance is highly recommended).
What We Offer:
- Casual rate with ongoing hours
- Mt Victoria/Katoomba area
- Salary packaging (up to $15,900 a year, + meal/entertainment benefit $2650 a year)
