Real Community Services was established in January 2006 and now provides thousands of personal support hours per week to people living with disability, acquired brain injury or neurological conditions.
At Real Community Services (RCS) we provide experienced, quality services to people living with disability in an In Home Support, High Intensity Supports, Community Access and Social Participation across multiple sites, including SIL houses. With a brilliant team across the Gold Coast, Greater Brisbane, Ipswich and the Sunshine Coast, we are there to help our Participants to achieve their goals to live a fulfilling life. The Role
We are currently recruiting for skilled and passionate Support Workers in the Sunshine Coast area. These roles may include shifts such as days, evenings, awake shifts, sleepovers, weekend and short notice shifts so flexibility is a must.
As a Support Worker with RCS, you will be responsible for the individualised support requested by our Participants. These supports may include: personal care, emotional support, domestic assistance, complex care, mental health and personal development of our Participants. You will provide a range of community access services to assist people with a disability to be actively engaged in their local community. RCS Support Workers will strive to make our Participants feel valued, respected and engaged in meaningful opportunities and relationships.
Applicants with experience in High Intensity Supports will be well regarded.

Skills and Experiences
- Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities highly desirable
- Previous experience in SIL environments is advantageous
- Relevant nationally recognised qualification highly desirable
- Must have a QLD driver's licence and own reliable transport
- Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
- NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
