About Us
South West Care Services is a registered NDIS Service Provider. We specialise in providing In-Home Care to our Aged and Disability community throughout Sydney.
Our services vary based on the needs and goals of the Individual. We ensure that our Staff Members with the compatible skill set are assigned to the services.
We are currently recruiting for Support Workers for the following areas:
- South West
- Inner/Eastern Sydney
- City of Sydney
- South Sydney
- Sutherland Shire
- St. George
Responsibilities
- Personal care (shower, toileting and personal hygiene assistance)
- Meal preparation (assist in cooking food)
- Household tasks (prepare bed and night cleaning)
- Assistance with Community access & Recreational Activities
- Manual handling and/or use of equipment and wheelchair
- Transportation
- Community Access
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Great communication skills with a diverse range of people
- Be able to work autonomously
- Be able to work with people of differing abilities and some awareness of disability issues
- Be able to build strong, supportive relationships with Staff and Participants
- Have a calm, caring and proactive manner
- Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support / Community Care or similar
- Drivers Licence
