About the role
As a Catering Support Worker, you will make a difference each and every day in providing healthy, hearty and delicious meals prepared by our Chef. Reporting to the Home Manager, you will support the Chef/ Chef Manager and your team to deliver a high quality catering service to our residents.
We have Permanent Part-Time and Casual opportunities, with various shifts available across a fortnightly roster, for Catering Support Workers to join our team!
Your main duties will include:
- Ensuring the catering service is adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirement
- Completing all appropriate food safety record forms as per legislation requirements.
- Ensuring that all duties are worked in accordance with the Food Safety Program at all times
- Ensuring uniforms, appropriate protective clothing and footwear is worn whilst in the workplace.
About you
- Follow Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate (Health Care Competencies)
- Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role in residential care, health care or hospitality sectors (Desirable)
- Current National police check no disclosable outcomes
- Current valid Australian work rights
