About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to assist a client with a back injury. The ideal candidate will be aged 40 or above and possess a 4x4 or an SUV car.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing physical support which may include helping with household tasks and personal care.
- Providing emotional support for an individual and their families.
- Supporting and helping with health care needs, including routine checks or administrating medication.
- Encouraging and supporting the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Providing social support and helping clients to set and achieve goals.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Aged 40 or above
- Possession of a 4x4 or an SUV car
- Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- Must have an experience dealing with mental health
- Atleast 1 year experience in similar role
- Atleast Certificate IV in Disability Support & Mental Health
