As a Support Worker you will be:

• Supporting adults with complex mental health, psychosocial disabilities and intellectual and physical disabilities in an independent living model. This requires someone resilient with empathetic and has great communication skills with the ability to set firm boundaries whilst having a positive attitude.
• Following positive behaviour support and care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site managers.
• Encouraging capacity building to enhance clients’ current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport and accessing the community safely.
• Promoting choice and control and show eagerness to participate in clients’ day to day routines, goals, and interests.
• Efficient in computer skills and report writing!
• Living by our values and bring a positive, proactive, and engaging version of yourself!

Some of our requirements:

We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) for this role however, what’s important to us is that you have regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers Licence or higher and flexible availability across a 24/7 roster which may include, mornings (6am-2pm OR 7am-3pm), afternoons (2pm-10pm OR 3pm- 11pm), active/sleepover nights (10pm-6am OR 11pm-7am).
