We are currently seeking a Support Worker to join the growing team at our stunning, purpose-built, early childhood service in Orange!
As a Support Worker, you will be prepared to wear many hats; rolling your sleeves up and bringing a positive, enthusiastic, and determined attitude as you work across Laundry, Kitchen and Housekeeping with days/time dedicated to each of these functions.
In this dynamic and important role, you will be responsible for assisting with laundry, basic food preparation, cleaning and maintenance of facilities, ordering, stocking and/or refilling supplies for the classroom, cleaning, and consumables. At the same time, you will steadfastly follow Rise’s policies and procedures and hold yourself to the highest possible standard with regard to health and hygiene practices.

Our ideal candidate will meet the following selection criteria:
• Be an effective communicator
• Be able to work independently as well as with supervision and within a team
• Be inclusive of others and bring a positive attitude every day
• Have the ability and motivation to build positive relationships with early childhood professionals, families, children and the wider community.
Essential Criteria:
• Current ACECQA approved First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications (or willing to obtain)
• Valid NSW Working with Children Check (or has applied)
• Willing to participate in a Child Protection induction on commencement and other mandatory training as requested by the Senior Leadership Team
• Available to work varied hours between 8am and 3:30pm over the course of the week with the possibility of extension as required by the service.
